  1. What is the HWG software List Charter?

    This list is a place for members of the HTML Writers Guild to discuss features of the tools we use in relation to the web. This is NOT a place to start program bashing, which will not be tolerated. Discussions include, but not limited by, browsers, HTML editors, FTP programs and site link checking software.     There are numerous browsers available to surf the WWW. The following are a few browsers from the high tech down to the text browsers. Many web designers say having different level browsers help to complete a well rounded site.

  5. Netscape information. To search the site.
    Internet Explorer information. To search the site.
    Opera information. User help.
    Mosaic for Windows. To search the site.
    Mosaic for Macintosh. To search the site.
    Lynx for PC information.
    Lynx for Macintosh information.

    There are many HTML editors on the market. Here is a small list of some that have been recommended.

    These programs help to convert certain audio sounds into .wav or .au files.
