The HTML Writers Guild IRC Channel

The HTML Writers Guild provides and maintains for the membership a IRC (Internet Relay Chat) room. If you have a question, that you need a quick answer to, or would just like to chat with some of the members and get them to know as more than just an E-Mail address you may be interested in checking this service out.

If your new to IRC or would like to read up on it before you jump in The IRC Primer is probably the best place to start off. There is a postscript version of this document also, as well as one available for ftp.

To use this service, you will first need to acquire and set up a IRC program. For a wide selection of programs A more complete and up-to-date site for clients is ftp://ftp.undernet.org/pub/irc/clients/. Currently #HWG is set up as a part of the StarLink-IRC IRC network. Access to StarLink-IRC Servers may come from the following locations:
