Introduction

The HTML Writers Guild offers a variety of online resources, and career development services to Institutional/Corporate Members in the field of World Wide Web design and authoring. The HWG strives to maintain a low-cost, efficient operation and yet provide maximum benefits to its Institutional/Corporate membership. Our annual dues for all levels of membership are substantially less than those of comparable trade associations. Listed below are the membership categories, benefits, and the associated yearly costs.

Business Membership - $100 (US$)

Any business, corporation, or institution with a interest in World Wide Web page design and authoring may apply for Business Membership. As an Business Member of The HTML Writers Guild, you may appoint a Business Member Associate - an individual in your company who automatically enjoys all the benefits of the Individual Plus Member except voting privileges.

All Business Members may receive discounts on advertising in HWG publications. This program is still under development. If you would like to receive more information regarding advertising rates, please send email to advertising(at)hwg.org and you will be contacted when more information is available.

Corporate Membership - Priced by company size

Membership is open to any business, corporate, or institutional organizations wishing to participate in a strategic allegiance with The HTML Writers Guild. As a Corporate Member of The HTML Writers Guild, you may appoint a Corporate Member Associate - an individual in your company who automatically enjoys all the benefits of the Individual Plus Member except voting rights.

All Corporate Members may receive discounts on advertising in HWG publications and the opportunity to join the HWG Corporate Sponsorship Program, which will offer banner advertising on specific pages of the HWG website. This program is still under development. If you would like to receive more information regarding advertising rates, please send email to advertising(at)hwg.org and you will be contacted when more information is available.

Corporate Membership Rates:

0- 50 employees : $250 (US$)

Includes 1 Corporate Member Associate Membership

50- 100 employees : $500 (US$)

Includes 2 Corporate Member Associate Memberships

101- 500 employees : $1000 (US$)

Includes 5 Corporate Member Associate Memberships

501- 999 employees : $2500 (US$)

Includes 10 Corporate Member Associate Memberships

1000 + employees : $5000 (US$)

Includes 20 Corporate Member Associate Memberships

Patron Membership - $500.00 (US$) over Corporate membership fee

Open to any institution that wishes to support the Guild to a greater degree than through the Corporate Membership fee.

In addition to the Corporate Membership benefits, Patron members receive the following additional benefits:

• one free ad in the HWG Newsletter, on a space available basis
• the one-time use of the HWG mailing list at half price cost (This is not the full HWG list, but only those members who have indicated that they are willing to be contacted by vendors.)
• your URL linked to our Supporting Members page on the HWG Web site. (This page will be created shortly.)
• prime location within the HWG vendor directory, a new Plus Membership program.
• Corporate name included on selected Guild materials
• Corporate press releases eligible for inclusion in the Guild's newsletter and website
