THE HTML WRITERS GUILD

Sample RFP Service Documents

As many features of this service are available only to full members, you will not be able to test out the service to determine whether it might be worth upgrading your membership. We have provided samples of e-mail messages and HTML documents generated by this service so that you may better understand what is available to eligible members.

Note: These are non-functional sample pages provided to give you a better understanding of the RFP Service. The buttons and links within these pages will not function properly. These sample pages do not provide access to the RFP Service.

  • RFP Submission Form
Members will use this form to enter various data about their Request For Proposals. The form will gather contact information, time line information, language, skill, and geographic requirements for the project, as well as the main body of the RFP and a 100-word summary. This form is available to full members of the Guild.

  • Acknowledgment of Receipt
After an RFP has been submitted an email message is generated confirming that the RFP has been received by our system and is in que for moderation. Please allow twenty-four hours for the RFP to process through moderation.

  • Notification of RFP Acceptance
When our moderators review and approve an RFP, the poster of the RFP is notified.

  • RFP Announcement Message
Approved RRPs are distributed to interested subscribers via the hwg-rfp mailing list. Subscribers to this list may then respond to the RFP (via whatever methods are indicated within the RFP). Full members of the Guild are eligible to subscribe to this list.

  • Notification of RFP Rejection
Those few RFPs which do not adhere to our posting guidelines will not be made available in our archive or distributed over the hwg-rfp mailing list. The poster of the RFP will be notified and provided with suggestions to ensure a successful re-submission.

  • Active RFP Archive Query Page
Those members not subscribed to the RFP mailing list may instead search the archive of active RFPs. Full members of the Guild have access to this query page.

  • Active RFP Query Results
A list of matching RFPs will be provided for each query of the archive of active RFPs.

  • Active RFP
From that list, the member may then view a particular active RFP.

  • E-mailed Active RFP
The member may then choose to forward this data to their e-mail address for further consideration.

  • Expired RFP Archive Query Page
All Guild members may search the archive of expired RFPs. Authors of these RFPs are no longer accepting proposals, but members may use this resource to further their understanding of the RFP Service, to provide examples for composing their own RFPs, or to gauge the market's demand for particular skills.

  • Expired RFP Query Results
A list of matching RFPs will be provided for each query of the archive of expired RFPs.

  • Expired RFP
From that list, the member may then view a particular expired RFP. Because the authors of these RFPs are no longer accepting proposals, all contact information has been stripped from the RFP.

  • E-mailed Expired RFP
The member may then choose to forward this data to their e-mail address.
